For welcome reception on Sunday : traffic and football world championship

Due to the qualification of France for the final of the football world championship, the traffic around and in Bordeaux may be difficult at the end of the match (at least if France wins !). It is recommended, if you arrive early enough that you take time to drop your luggage in the hotel before joining registration and welcome cocktail at the Cité du Vin.

Posters will be displayed from Monday morning until noon Friday.

Poster numbers (P1 ..188) can be found in the following link. We request that presenting authors of ODD numbered posters are next to their posters during the poster sessions on Monday (afternoon), and Tuesday (morning and afternoon), and that presenting authors of EVEN numbered posters are next to their posters during the poster sessions on Wednesday (morning) and Thursday (morning and afternoon).

If you present several posters, please stick a post-it note on your posters to indicate where you can be found (or PCR yourself!).

ISHS Young Minds Awards will be awarded to the best oral and poster presentations given by young (under 35) students or postdocs (limited to 6 months after the Ph.D.).

There will be a welcome reception at the Cité du Vin on Sunday evening from 17:30 until 21:00 where you will be able to collect your conference bag and badge.

The conference will take place at the ENSEIRB-MATMECA in Talence, information on how to reach the venue is given on the Conference venue page.

Each participant will be given a free pass for the trams/buses/boats so that you can use the excellent public transport system of Bordeaux during your stay.

We will be looking for volunteers who would like to organise the next GBG meeting in 2022.

All posters presented by students will be eligible for a poster prize.

There will be a phenotyping workshop given by Reinhard Töpfer and colleagues on Tuesday 17th July at 17:00, if you wish to attend, please send an email to ZR@julius-kuehn.de before 1st July.
